| Alferini Golf course, in Benahavis, will host for the first time a Ladies European Tour tournament between November 24th and 27th.
Alferini Golf, located in the municipality of Benahavis, will open its doors at the end of November to the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España, a tournament that will close the season on the Ladies European Tour and will crown for the third consecutive year not only the champion of the tournament but also the winner of the Race to Costa del Sol. This tournament, which has become the highlight of the women’s season in Europe, has a dizzying list of winners since it became the closing event of the Race to Costa del Sol. In the 2020 season, the Danish Emily Kristine Pedersen achieved the double -tournament and Race to Costa del Sol-, to put the rubric to a spectacular year. Last season the tournament was won by Carlota Ciganda, thus achieving the only tournament she had yet to win in our country, and the order of merit was won by Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul.
