| Pre-departure Covid testing for flights from most countries to the USA ended on 12 June, just ahead of our own North America Convention taking place in Reno next week!
This is anticipated to bolster tourism to the United States in general, generating an additional 5.4 million visitors and some $9 million in travel spending this year, according to the US Travel Association. In other good news, Japan announced last week that tourists from 98 countries will now be able to visit the country on Japanese escorted tours. Expectations are that these criteria will continue to be relaxed as the year progresses. We are looking forward to staging our 10th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) in Miyazaki in March 2023.
