The celebrations come to a climax with a fireworks display overlooking the Resort and a party with live music and a DJ set to ring in 2022.

For those looking to work off the culinary excesses on New Year’s Day, there is the opportunity to play the Resort’s PGA National Golf championship course. Designed by the architect, David Mezzacane, and professional golfer, Baldovino Dassù, with holes subsequently shaped by Brian Jorgensen, the 6,218 metre, par 71 layout is an interesting and challenging layout that features a variety of tee elevations, mostly small, undulating greens and numerous water hazards.
Awarded the “Agri Cert” certification for its bio eco-compatibility, the course meanders through ancient cork-oak woods and olive groves on the property with stunning views over the landscape from almost every hole. Thanks to the microclimate enjoyed by the location, golf can be played all year round.
Guests can also take advantage of the complimentary use of the golf driving range and practice facilities. The Argentario Golf Academy features practice areas, driving bays and a TrackMan IIIe simulator, a state-of-the-art platform for analyzing your swing, whether you are a high handicapper or beginner.

For the very active, there are also padel and tennis courts, a mini football pitch and a number of jogging paths that wind their way through the property. For the less active, there are over 77 hectares of Mediterranean terrain in which to take a gentle wander as well as the nearby fishing village of Porto Ercole or charming port of Porto Santo Stefano to explore.
Argentario is easily accessed from Rome Fiumicino Airport by car in just 90 minutes whilst Siena is just an hour and 15 minutes away and Florence a two-hour drive.
