| Albarella Golf Links, located in the eponimous Island in the Venice Region, has produced in cooperation with Donna Frida, a local liqueur factory, the first stock of ‘Spirit of the Links’ bottles.
This spirit has been obtained from infusion of milk thistle plants harvested exclusively on the golf course and is available at the golf reception in 500 ml bottles. The project is part of a broader initiative called ‘Albarella Golf Links goes local’, that includes also the Lagoon Links Honey production in cooperation with ‘Atelier del Miele’.
Stefano Boni, general manager of Albarella Golf Links, stated: ‘Our projects are the demonstration the golf can go beyond itself with the production of goods that help the facilities to instill a stronger sense of place among it costumers.
Moreover we have chosen 2 partners that share with us the same sustainability values: the liqueur factory Donna Frida doesn’t use any kind of addtives and chemicals, whereas Atelier del Miele is since longtime at the forefront of pollinators conservation.’ |
