COVID-19 Thailand lifts quarantine requirement from 10 markets in November
Thailand is opening up incoming leisure travel to fully vaccinated visitors from 1 November without the need to quarantine. This will apply to travellers from China, Germany, Singapore, the UK and USA plus five other countries that have yet to be named.

Visitors must have a negative PCR test before travelling and must take another test on arrival. On receiving a negative result they will be free to move around Thailand.

This list of 10 countries will be expanded from 1 December and will become much wider-ranging from 1 January. Also in December it is planned that the consumption of alcoholic beverages in restaurants can resume and entertainment venues will re-open.

This important announcement was made by the Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha on 11 October.

IAGTO will be communicating with all of its golf tourism industry in members shortly.
